Dr. Adam Cabrera graduated from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada in 2022. He completed his clinical year at NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Raleigh, NC. Before this, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017.

Dr. Cabrera's love for animals started at a young age, which led him to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. As a veterinarian, he enjoys providing pet owners with all the information they need to be the best pet owners. His primary interest in veterinary medicine is exotic animals, as they give just as much companionship as cats and dogs. He wants to ensure their owners can provide the best care possible.

Outside of work, Dr. Cabrera loves to hike with his Golden Retriever, Odin, paddleboard, explore new restaurants with his partner, Josh, and build and care for his extensive collection of plants.

Originally from Wauconda, a suburb of Chicago, Dr. Cabrera spent a year working at a small animal practice in Greensboro, NC, before moving to his current location. He is a member of various veterinary associations and has published several research papers.
